There was a fake Steve Slaton Appliance Repair site online. If someone searched for my appliance repair name on google, they may have see an ad for a website that looks like it is my business site. It is NOT! They have bought a similar name, steveslatonSappliancerepair.com.. It has an “S” after slaton. My website is www.steveslatonappliancerepair.com.

UPDATE. We finally got them taken down and will keep our eyes open for other people trying to act like us.

These people are simply trying to lure some of our customers to their form or phone number so they can sell the data to whoever wants to buy it. We have had 3 customers that were confused (tricked) and clicked the ad thinking it was my business and wondering why we did not show up. Apparently this fake repair company can’t even get techs out when they get the leads.

I am trying to find a way to stop them. I have been using the name “Steve Slaton Appliance Repair” in the Katy area for over 10 years now. Anyone that knows any good attorneys that could handle some nuisance like this, please let me know.

The main purpose of this is to let my current customers know about it. If you need service, I only have one number. 281-948-2491. If you need to search for us in Google, skip the ads that come up and go to the natural results, or the map. We do not do any paid ads, so on a mobile device you don’t see my site unless you scroll down.

Be careful when searching for anything online. There are many scammers out there that will appear to be something they are not. I always try to go past the ads and see what the real results are. Stay Safe
